| Hello, and welcome to "The Basic RP" thread. This is the very first RP in this forum, and I sincerely hope that many more will follow. Please do not talk or ask questions here. This thread is solely for the purpose of containing the RP; there is an OOC thread for everything else. Storyline
Actually, there's no main plotline to follow here. This RP is made so that everyone contributes to the story. Because of this, the storyline will be created as we go. The RP is set on a planet about 3 times the size of Jupiter. This way, we'll never run out of new areas to explore; there is every type of climate imaginable on our planet, and it's fairly interesting to traverse.
We can really do anything here.
The only rule I have is that Humans are the only intelligent life form on the planet. I'd really like everyone to be human for this RP because I think that it would make things easier, more fun, and would cut down on godmodding; besides, humans can have special powers just as much as elves/dwarves! If there's one thing I don't want to happen, its for this RP to get too realistic. :[ There are a lot of possibilities, and I don't want to restrict any ideas for this RP.
Again, I'm not hosting the RP, or guiding it in any way; I'm expecting it to be a group effort for the storyline.

| Cool. My guy was going to find the city (he would be coming from the dersert) And since im bad with names i thought of calling the city agriba, the city in the dersert.
And i thought that if you you look past agriba you would be able to see mountains in the distance with green on them and around. (meaning when we got there we would no longer be in the dersert.
just an idea. but since you wanted the first post your the one who desides. Unless you dont look past the place (whatever we call it) then i could do that.
now when are the two of you going to offically have characters?

If we are to continue with the rp we will need a system of commerce.
How much will stuff cost and what type of money will we use (rupee, gold, etc...)
Slip-space wants to buy a katana...
Can we carry infinite money or do we have purses with established amounts?
Is our tech level high enough that people can buy using web/internet/something.

| well i really like the one piece system. It uses beile (or its belle or beille) and it is just cool.
Well the truth is you made this sosciety more tecongicly advanced then i had origanlly thought. You also added allot of cool new features.
Dont worry this is fine since anyone can change and add to this rp.
But i dont think we should have infinate money. I mean i have some money but im now king.
So we will just have to take a vote.
So we either use gold, beli (thats how it is spelt) or regular money. Avrair says gp.
